Dr. Gabriel Murphy graduated from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, in 2006. He spent the first decade of his career primarily in emergency medicine, gaining extensive experience through rotations in paediatrics, surgery, and oncology.

In 2017, Dr. Murphy undertook his General Practice training in Scotland, where he completed diverse rotations in general medicine, psychiatry including learning disabilities, obstetrics, and gynaecology. He returned to Ireland in 2022, working as a GP and providing essential out-of-hours care.

Dr. Murphy joined the LC Medical Care team in 2026. While he holds a special interest in sports injuries and acute medicine, he is highly proactive about preventative care, particularly in cardiovascular health and chronic disease management.

Dr. Rene Aguilar graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Catholic University of Honduras after eight intense and rewarding years of medical training. His journey began with an internship at the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital in San Pedro Sula and a social service year at San Francisco Hospital in Juticalpa, experiences that shaped his clinical skills and commitment to patient care.

Seeking to expand his horizons, he moved to Spain to specialize in Family and Community Medicine in Valladolid. Over four years of residency, he balanced primary care consultations at the Magdalena Healthcare Centre with hospital rotations, emergency medicine, and demanding night shifts at the Clinical University Hospital.

Since 2017, he has served as a Family Medicine specialist within the Spanish public healthcare system, SACYL. In 2019, he joined the Tordesillas Healthcare Centre, where he cared for the community for nearly seven years before relocating to Ireland.

Throughout his career, he has walked alongside patients through all stages of life, whether treating routine illness, responding on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, or acting as a first responder in acute emergencies. His goal is to ensure that every patient feels truly heard, respected, and supported.

Medicine is universal, and at its core is a deep respect for the doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Luisana Guevara brings a wealth of international experience to LC Medical Care. She began her medical journey in Venezuela, practicing as a rural doctor, General Practitioner, and Internal Medicine resident.

Her career then took her to Spain, where she diversified her expertise by working in geriatric care, addiction rehabilitation, out-of-hours home emergencies, followed by seven years dedicated to hospital emergency medicine.

Since relocating to Ireland in 2025, Dr. Guevara has fallen in love with the country while providing vital community care through out-of-hours medical services. Driven by empathy and a commitment to accessible healthcare, she joins the LC Medical Care project with enthusiasm, ready to provide a safe, welcoming environment for all patients.
